365 Days of the Unoriginal, Day 6: Tuesday’s Just as Bad

I’m still running old recordings while I put together new ones, so today you get another oldie to fill out the challenge. This past December, the Lake Avenue Jam Band played for a really fun Ugly Sweater Party at a local bar, we pulled out all the loud, silly, bluesy stops. I got some really horrible video of it. :) Enjoy our take on the Black Crowes’ “Seeing Things” on this bright Tuesday morning! We play it considerably faster than they did, but it’s still kind of a cool tune, and I like our take on it.

Yeah, the sound’s crappy, I know. I got the craptastic video blues for Tuesday. ;) Tomorrow, I’ll post something fresh and new just to mix it all up. Be warned: there will be Amy Winehouse involved.

About L. M. Bernhardt

For a good long while (15 years or so), I taught philosophy at a little private university in northwest IA, and occasionally branched out into playing music, dabbling in photography, experimenting with food, and writing nonsense on my blog. The philosophy teaching part ended in 2017 (program elimination via prioritization), but never fear! I've just finished my MLIS at San Jose State University, and I'm currently on the market looking for new adventures in either philosophy or LIS. For now, I labor at a fairly interesting administrative job in order to support my dogs in the lavish manner to which they've become accustomed.
