365 DotU, Day 128 Needs Lip Gloss and A Gallon of Aquanet STAT

This entry in the challenge exists for exactly 2 reasons:

1) I needed a simple song to use to demonstrate my new “skill”: I can now play the harmonica badly AND play the guitar badly…

…wait for it…

I know. It’s pretty damn impressive, eh? I’m even a little impressed myself. I am just one step closer now to official membership in the Singer/Songwriter club! Yes!

2) Someone* earwormed “Don’t Need Nothin’ But A Good Time” for me yesterday, and I needed to perform some sort of freakin’ exorcism or find a magic cure to get the Poison out of my system.

Consider this my bezoar. I am hereby purged. You know, until I am called upon to play the bass part for “Don’t Need Nothin’ But A Good Time.” I am ON that sucker.

*GodDAMN it, Josh!

About L. M. Bernhardt

For a good long while (15 years or so), I taught philosophy at a little private university in northwest IA, and occasionally branched out into playing music, dabbling in photography, experimenting with food, and writing nonsense on my blog. The philosophy teaching part ended in 2017 (program elimination via prioritization), but never fear! I've just finished my MLIS at San Jose State University, and I'm currently on the market looking for new adventures in either philosophy or LIS. For now, I labor at a fairly interesting administrative job in order to support my dogs in the lavish manner to which they've become accustomed.
